1. Computer Vision: Multi-Object Tracking (2 Positions)

Focus: Multi-camera, multi-object tracking with an emphasis on dense and similar object tracking.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop state-of-the-art multi-camera systems accurate and efficient tracking of dense objects with similar appearances.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in agriculture and poultry science to deploy solutions in real-world applications.

2. Remote Sensing: Precision Agriculture (2 Positions)

Focus: Drone and satellite image analysis for agricultural applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret drone and satellite imagery to improve agricultural practices.
  • Develop models and tools for precision agriculture, including crop health monitoring and yield prediction.
  • Work with data scientists and agricultural experts to refine solutions for practical implementation.

3. Robotics: Robotic Arm Manipulation (2 Positions)

Focus: Robotic arm manipulation using exocentric and egocentric views.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement algorithms for robotic arm control and manipulation with visual inputs.
  • Optimize both hardware and software for seamless task execution.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, and computer science to enhance automation processes in supply chain and retail systems.

Qualifications

  • A strong background in computer vision, remote sensing, or robotics, with demonstrated experience in relevant projects or research. Having publications in related and relevant venues is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, etc.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) and analysis/visualization tools (e.g., Pandas, OpenCV, Open3D, etc.).
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field; advanced degrees (MSc or PhD) are preferred but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for research and innovation.
